Terms & Conditions for Buyers

The Shoprite Strokes of Genius project aims to bring art and crafts from emerging artists of Africa into the world view. It also supplies a mechanism through which prospective buyers can contact artists directly and in doing so avoid unnecessary fees and commissions.
Prospective buyers register their interest by following the instructions as found on the web site.
On receipt of a buyer's online purchase request, the Strokes of Genius administrative office will provide the prospective buyer with full information pertaining to the artist, including his/her contact details.
The buyer and the artist will reach their own agreements on the terms of purchase and delivery and Shoprite will take no further responsibility in this matter.
Shoprite will make all efforts to ensure that the buyer receives up to date information about the artist, but can not be held responsible for any incorrect information supplied by the artist.
